Night System replacement part
Quietdry™ Replacement Cup + Sensor
Renew the cup and sensor on your Night System. A new cup and a new sensor, in one set.
Ships free with a Night System or any order over US$60. On its own, tracked shipping is US$9.99 (5–10 business days).
- A new cup and a new sensor. One soft medical-silicone cup in your fit, plus one sensor with its lead and plug, supplied on its drainage tube
- The sensor is the part that wears. The maker’s guidance is 10 days to 3 months, sometimes up to half a year, and 5 days to a month with diabetes
- Fits your Night System. It connects to the unit you already have; the pump unit, briefs and jug stay the same
- A spare cup as well. The cup washes and reuses, so after your first renewal you have one to use and one drying

When to renew
The sensor is the one part of the Night System that wears out. When it does, the pump stops starting by itself. A new sensor and a fresh cup arrive together in one set.
That is the maker’s guidance for the sensor, and sometimes it lasts up to half a year, depending on use.
Sugar in urine wears the sensor and the tubing faster, so expect to replace it often.
That is the usual sign the sensor is due. The unit’s manual button still runs the pump until the new set arrives.
Swapping it in
The steps follow the maker’s instructions for a first set-up. It takes a few minutes. See the diagram of the connections.
The sensor screws into the threaded joint at the base of the cup.
The tube with the black wire is the cup tube: push its end onto IN and the wire’s silver plug into the sensor socket. The plain tube stays on OUT and in the jug.
Switch the unit on and press the manual button to check that it runs.
Pour a little tap water or saline into the cup. The pump should start by itself. Use tap or saline, never purified water, and never hotter than 50 °C (122 °F).
Questions
Which fit should I order?
The same fit you chose for your Night System: Men, Men (retracted fit) or Women. If you are not sure which one you have, email info@quietdry.com with your order number and we will check.
What is included?
One soft silicone cup in the fit you choose and one sensor with its lead and plug, supplied on its drainage tube as pictured. The cup and sensor are sold together as one set. The pump unit, briefs and jug are not included.
How do I know the sensor is due?
The usual sign is that the pump stops starting by itself when urine reaches the cup. Check that the unit is charged and that the sensor plug is pushed fully into the unit. If it still does not start, the sensor is due. If a new one does not fix it, email info@quietdry.com.
Do I need a new cup as well?
The cup is washable and reusable. The set gives you a new sensor plus a fresh cup, so after your first renewal you have a spare cup to rotate while the other air dries.
Will it work with my Night System?
Yes. It is the Night System cup and sensor, and it connects to the unit you already have. It does not fit the Quietdry Day Kit, which uses its own parts.
How do I clean the cup and sensor?
Rinse with warm water each morning, never hotter than 50 °C (122 °F), and brush the cup and the sensor tip gently with a soft toothbrush. Leave them to air dry and keep the sensor plug and the unit’s ports dry. To disinfect, wipe the clean cup with 75% alcohol.
The Quietdry Replacement Cup + Sensor is a replacement part for the Quietdry Night System, a non-invasive external urine collector for home care. It collects urine; it does not treat incontinence or any medical condition.
